The ninth edition of the Michel Gilabert exhibition opened on Saturday with its inauguration chaired by Mayor Gérald Sgobbo and representatives of the Villeneuvois Art and Culture association which organizes this event. The Villeneuvois chief magistrate did not fail to pay tribute to all these volunteers who mobilized to make it a success.

Several painters responded to the call as did several creators. If all the participants were complimented, the members of the Villeneuvois floral art received a real ovation. Indeed, all the members around Patricia Cuxac created beautiful compositions which amazed all flower enthusiasts.

For Gérald Sgobbo, the work accomplished by the organizers is remarkable. “They contribute to the influence of Villeneuve-d’Olmes through the various and varied cultural events. […] Make this exhibition known, it deserves to be seen,” concludes the mayor.

The visits take place every afternoon from 2 to 6 p.m. until October 17 at the rural center in Villeneuve-d’Olmes. The inauguration closed with a generous reception where everyone was able to converse with local creative artists.
