Xavier, 5, was unable to attend the ceremony organized by his nursery school, so the airline offered him an unforgettable moment.

“We’re giving him his graduation ceremony on this flight,” the flight attendant said into the plane’s microphone. Xavier, 5, received a surprise ceremony on the plane that was carrying him and his mother from Orlando, United States, to Puerto Rico, where his family is from.

Wearing a red gown and a traditional American graduation ceremony hat, Xavier walked up the aisle to the applause of passengers and music.

“He wasn’t able to receive his preschool diploma today. And because he chose to fly Frontier, we’re giving him his graduation ceremony on this flight,” said the flight attendant.

“His face lit up… He was super excited, people were high-fiving him and cheering him on,” his mother told Good Morning America.

Xavier even posed in ceremonial attire with the plane’s pilots for a souvenir photo. The video was shared on social media and has now received over 380,000 likes.

“Who else can say that (their) graduation took place at (12,000 meters) above sea level? It’s unforgettable, for sure! Well done, my friend,” commented one Internet user.
