The metal block shattered about ten steps below. He was found inert by witnessesquestioned by investigators. The municipality has opened an investigation to shed light on this story. Parts of the robot were sent to its Californian manufacturer for analysis.

The local press has taken up the subject.Was the work too hard for him?” headlined several Korean newspapers. Gumi City Hall, which was spending around 1,300 euros per month on the robot, has no plans to replace it for the time being.
