This is a new municipal sports facility that will see the light of day in the north of Toulouse: a gymnasium where many disciplines can be practiced, in a positive energy building.
Suitable for regional competitions
This new building will be located on rue Sébastienne Marre. At this stage, the project provides for a space allowing the practice of handball, volleyball, basketball and badminton.
A multi-sport practice area therefore, “ complies with the standards of the four federations“, specify the services of the Toulouse city hall in the deliberation which was put to the vote during the municipal council of Friday, September 20, 2024. “This will make it possible to organize regional level competitions there”, continue the services.
A dojo and a multipurpose room
The building will also include indoor stands, as well as associated premises and changing rooms and premises reserved for municipal agents. dojo and a multipurpose room will complete the set.
These buildings will be positive energy and will have a photovoltaic field on the roof to offset the site’s electricity consumption.
Estimated amount of work: 7.4 million eurosA competition has just been launched to choose the project manager.
