In The Silent SeaEarth became a desert planet and humanity was forced to take drastic measures to ration access to drinking water. At the same time, humanity has successfully colonized the Moon, but a lunar station suffers a mysterious accident in which more than 100 people lose their lives.
A hidden gem of Netflix
A team of researchers and scientists then travel to the Moon to try to figure out what happened and, sure enough, the answer is much more complicated than they think and is part of what appears to be a conspiracy full of mysteries, corrupt politicians and businessmen and even an unknown phenomenon that they discover among the remains of the station.

The Silent Sea stars famous actress Bae Doona and actor Gong Yoo, who can be seen in Round 6 as the mysterious man who recruits players on the streets of Korea.
The series manages to hook us in just eight episodes, with a plot full of mystery, suspense, betrayals and some science fiction elements that recall the best series of the genre of the decade, even the millennium.
