The series Dumas was back on the air on - Monday evening, continuing his misleading intrigues which did not fail to sow confusion among viewers.

Although the disappearance of Delphine Proulx (Catherine-Anne Toupin) was resolved, its outcome introduced a new dynamic which could further fuel the war between Jean Dumas (Gildor Roy) and Stephanie (Isabel Richer). The latter, Delphine’s ally, seems ready to do anything to achieve her objectives.

The mischievous duo Delphine-Stéphanie now aims to recruit Éric (Vincent Leclerc) using dubious methods, including blackmail. Their weapon? A mysterious murder story linked to Eric’s past, a carefully buried scandal that threatens to resurface. However, Eric, suspicious, had hacked Stéphanie’s phone, which allowed him to intercept a compromising conversation between her and Dumas’ ex-lover:
“Eric was at the center of a big scandal. If we threaten him with that, there will be no choice to cross on our side.”

Towards the end of the episode, viewers got a glimpse into the private investigator’s tumultuous and chaotic past, lingering even more mystery.
