To start the year 2025, France 3 is offering its viewers the opportunity to (re)watch fiction, The Duchess’s Mysteries this Wednesday January 1, 2025. Broadcast for the first time in September 2022, it features Lorie Pester, who had just left Tomorrow belongs to us and had in the meantime given birth early to a little girl, Nina. In this fiction, she plays Maud Artuis, a widowed gendarmerie captain who is eight months pregnant. Unlike her character, Lorie Pester wasn’t really pregnant on The Mysteries of the Duchess. For the purposes of the TV film, the actress wore a foam stomach. If she enjoyed filming this TV film in Ruelle-sur-Touvre, a suburb of Angoulême, in Charente, the filming was sometimes difficult for Lorie Pester who had to be separated for the first time from her little Nina. “Originally, my parents were supposed to accompany me and my daughter during filming, but they had a setbackexplains the actress, my daughter therefore spent her time between the nursery, her grandparents and her dad.” Which led to some painful moments of separation. “I only saw her on weekends and it was very hard. On Sunday evening, when I had to go to the station, she was in tears, she clung to me.
