“Fort Boyard” is making its return this Saturday, June 29 on France 2 . Without knowing it, viewers will discover the many new features imagined months in advance. Through persuasion and exclusivity, the production authorized us to follow the entire design of a new game, from the first thoughts to its construction on the fortress located between the island of Aix and the island of Oléron (Charente -Maritime).
It all began at the end of autumn in the offices of Adventure Line Productions where Guillaume Ramain, artistic producer, and Manu Blanquet, game designer, met to discuss. “We debrief on the previous season, we look at the general desires, what we liked, what we liked less, which events are starting to get a bit old and which ones deserve a facelift. And we start to think about the new season. At the beginning, we have lots of ideas but not all of them will see the light of day because sometimes, they don’t fit technically and sometimes, we have more desires than budget. Likewise, sometimes the ideas we have don’t resemble the final event.”explains Guillaume Ramain.

Boyard Castle
Among the many ideas submitted was Château Boyard. This year, the Father Fouras has decided to start a business selling grape juice and is counting on two celebrities to collect the precious liquid. To do this, one of the two candidates will put on a barrel costume that his teammate will have to fill and then press. But before knowing this outcome, the test had been imagined quite differently.
