Stéphane Plaza, along with other real estate professionals, try to help individuals find the apartment or house of their dreams. This Friday, June 28, viewers were able to discover new participants, all eager to find the ideal property. Three experts looked at three files for this new issue of Looking for an apartment or house broadcast on M6: Stéphane Plaza, Sandra Viricel et Mathieu Beyer. They all had one month to complete the proposed challenges. Did they succeed?
Looking for an apartment or house : what happens to Loïc and Célia?
Stephane Plaza got to know Loic25, who made an appearance in The Voice on TF1. He lives in a studio in the 15th arrondissement of Paris that he finds dim and poorly ventilated. He wants to share an apartment with his best friend, Celia (23 years old) who has not had a fixed place to live for six months. So she is squatting at friends’ houses. They are both looking for a rental property in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, preferably a furnished one. Their maximum budget in terms of rent? 1400 euros. After doing his research, Stéphane Plaza offered them to visit a first apartment located in the 15th arrondissement, their dream neighborhood. It has a bedroom, a functional bathroom and a fitted kitchen, all with a surface area of 48m2. Unfortunately, the owner has not given any news.
A few days later, Stéphane Plaza got another viewing, again in the 15th arrondissement, near the Lourmel and Balard metro stations. A furnished apartment, with big positive points, but too expensive. He didn’t stop there since he organized another viewing, in the Vaugirard district. And the apartment caught their eye, as did the rent, below their budget. After submitting two applications, the verdict was in: Loïc and Célia got the unfurnished apartment, the one they had fallen in love with!
Search for apartment or house : what happens to Myriam, Medhi and their three children?
Myriam (35 ans), Mehdi (37 years old) and their three children left Paris two years ago to settle in Lyon. “We spent more than ten years in the Paris region (…) Today, we needed a lot more greenery, but we wanted to keep our life a bit urban“, confided the mother of the family. “We made the crazy bet of coming to Lyon without knowing the city“, her husband continued. With the help of Sandra Viricelthey would like to find a large house with a swimming pool and thus leave the apartment they currently occupy in the 3rd arrondissement of Lyon. “The idea is to have a better quality of life (…) We would now really like to find this house in a privileged environment, where we can easily raise our children“, explained Medhi. Their budget? 650,000 euros, excluding notary fees. Sandra Viricel offered them a first house which did not have the desired effect because there was no visible entrance, despite a beautiful living room. They liked the second one more, especially because it has a swimming pool.. But the price has cooled them down a bit, since it costs 699,000 euros.
Myriam, Medhi and their three children were able to visit a third house with a real entrance, which dates from 2001.It is priced at 699,000 euros.“, confided the expert who managed to obtain it at the price of 650,000 euros! After 48 hours of reflection, the family made their decision. And it was the house with the swimming pool that they chose, the second one therefore.
Looking for an apartment or house : what becomes of Madeleine?
Madeleine met Mathieu Beyer who tried to help her find a property in downtown Colmar. At 76, she is retired after working as a nurse. She lives alone in a rented apartment where she likes to entertain her many friends. But today, she is looking to buy an apartment of at least 80 square meters that will be her “last accommodation“. She has visited several over the past eight months, but she hasn’t had THE crush. Her budget: 200,000 euros in stock portfolio. With Mathieu Beyer, Madeleine visited two, including one that she had already visited! He offered her a third property by refining a few criteria. After that, a fourth visit was organized and she really liked the apartment even if the price didn’t match her budget. Finally, Madeleine backpedaled… The expert didn’t manage to find her any property.
