Only a few people know about the existence of two “lost” episodes of Dragon Ball, which almost no one has seen. Finding them is a challenge because they are not complete…

It is no exaggeration to say that Dragon Ball is one of the biggest franchises. Created 40 years ago by the late Akira Toriyama, the Saiyan Warriors saga was so successful that Goku's universe expanded beyond television with video games, toys and even films. Today, the mangaka's legacy is more alive than ever with Dragon Ball Daimaan adventure in which Kakarot and his friends are transformed into children.

Dragon Ballone of the most popular anime, has fans all over the world, who have become true experts on the subject. From Toriyama's favorite character to the one he hated the most, including the villain born from one of his worst nightmares or the transformation he preferred to remove because it was too powerful, there are fans who know the smallest details of the series. However, few people know of the existence of two “lost” episodes of Dragon Ball that almost no one has seen.

These two episodes are real hidden treasures

Considered a sort of hidden treasure, these two episodes were not watched by many people outside of Japan because, precisely, they were only broadcast in Japan. The first episode, titled Dragon Ball Z : Movie Overview Specialwas broadcast on August 3, 1992 and lasted 45 minutes. The episode aired exclusively on Tokai TV, almost a month after the release of Dragon Ball Z: Cyborg Offensive.

In Dragon Ball Z : Movie Overview SpecialGoku and Gohan appear on the street, dressed in elegant tuxedos. The plot features the two Saiyans discussing the films released in the franchise to date, doing a sort of recap for fans.

In the end, Goku doesn't really like being in costume and is given powers to revert to his usual uniform. Gohan tries to be like his father, but he isn't strong enough to take off his tuxedo.

The second episode is called Looking Back at Everything : The Dragon Ball Z New Year’s Eve Show ! and was broadcast on Fuji Television on December 31, 1993. In the story, which takes place during the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament, Gohan and Goten take a hot bath outside in the dead of winter. Goku, who is dead, suddenly appears in front of his sons using a teleport. They then remember what happened in Dragon Ball Z in 1993.

For those interested, it is possible to find a few minutes of Dragon Ball Z : Movie Overview Special recorded with an internet camera, however, they are not officially on any streaming platform.
