“Catherine Benguigui (Mona) was crying…” Adher (Nathan) recounts the filming of her last scenes in the TF1 series

This Tuesday, November 12, fans of Tomorrow belongs to us witnessed the departure of Nathan (Adher)who left Sète to join Charlie (Clémence Lassalas) in Montreal. If this departure was an opportunity for Bruno (Kévin Lévy, Aurore Delplace's husband) to assert his role as father during an emotional sequence, Mona (Catherine Benguigui teases with Adher) was initially angry against his foal… before changing his mind. Interviewed exclusively by Télé-Loisirs, Adher spoke about the reasons for his departure, about his relationship with Catherine Benguigui, and about the filming of his last scenes, which inevitably took place in tears.

Tomorrow belongs to us : “She impressed me”Adher (Nathan) looks back on his first scenes with Catherine Benguigui (Mona)

If there has been an emblematic duo of the series for some time, it is the one bringing together Mona and Nathan at the Spoon. Playing the tough love card to the fullest, this explosive pair made us laugh as much as we were moved. However, as the actor told us, on the film set it was not so simple at the beginning. “At the beginning, I found it complicated to shoot with Catherine, because she impressed me quite a bit. I knew her career. Obviously, that puts even more pressure. Especially since I was the new kid, with no experience …” he explains moved, before adding “And finally very quickly, our personalities matched in the game, as in life. And it was a joy from A to Z to shoot with Catherine.”

Excluded. Tomorrow belongs to us : “Catherine Benguigui was crying…” Adher recounts the filming of his last scenes

So obviously, at departure time, and given their complicity, tears flowed, as the actor told us. This, even if he hadn't realized that the time to say goodbye had come! “For the little anecdote, the last sequence I had with Mona, I didn't necessarily have any emotion because in fact, I didn't know that it was our last together” he remembers. “Catherine was crying, and I said to myself: “Don’t worry, I’m still here, I haven’t left!” At the end of the shoot, she said to me: “But it was our last plan together…” And then I said to myself “Oh, damn!”” he said with a laugh. Then came the filming of the last scene of Adher, the one where Nathan leaves in a taxi for the airport. “It helped me with playing the emotion, but it was even harder to concentrate. Because inevitably, there are the emotions of real life that take over…” And this is felt in the image, as TF1 viewers were able to see.
