A dizzying mission
The first event immediately set the bar very high, literally and figuratively. Not far from the top of a colossal statue of Shiva standing 110 meters high, candidates had to bungee jump and then recite a list of seven Hindu gods.
Emeline, despite her terrible fear of heights, courageously opened the ball, followed by Axel and Claire. Clément and Emeline shone with their performance, quickly finishing the word search test that followed. Despite an unforeseen detour, they won the first extra-amulet of 20,000 euros, while Jean-Claude and Axel, who arrived last until Stéphane, received the first black envelope.
Coordination and precision
The second race tested the skill and patience of the candidates. The objective: transport a plate using two strings through an obstacle course.
Once again, Clément and Emeline demonstrated exceptional coordination, winning their second consecutive extra-amulet. In a breathtaking finale, Christophe and Claire arrived last by a hair, inheriting the second black envelope.
Between the tests, the pairs had the opportunity to live an authentic experience by staying with locals. Christophe and Claire had the chance to sleep in real beds and share playtime with the village children. Jean-Claude and Axel participated in a prayer with their hosts. All the pairs were able to enjoy a local feast, of which only Indian cooks have the secret.
The final test and the final verdict
The last test, a revisited game of cricket, saw Christophe and Claire triumph, while Jean-Claude and Axel finished last, collecting their second black envelope.
