My mother, your father is a true television gem; a reality show with its own flavor where we can be sure that the candidates are not there to become influencers after the fact. Rather, they are there to try to find love and discover what they really need.
However, the experience is sometimes complex for singles, who are going through great personal journeys. During the last episode, we were able to see that some people were starting to break down their barriers, or at least realizing that they had to do so.
From the start of the episode, we saw that the candidates, and more particularly Sandy who lives in Gaspésie, were entitled to a warning ofIsabelle.
She returned to the fact that she does not want to have a partner who lives too far from her, an idea that she has repeated several times since the beginning of the adventure. This time, she tried to make the other girls understand that a long-distance relationship couldn’t work. According to her, driving several hours to spend time with the person who makes her heart beat is simply impossible.
The declaration ofIsabelle somewhat shaken Sandywho lives several hours from Mauricethe one that currently interests him. However, what is suitable for Isabelle may not apply to everyone. Hopefully Sandy will know how to trust his own instinct.
A little later, Isabelle finally clarified to Jonathan that despite the interest she had in him, their relationship would not go any further due to the distance between their places of residence. This decision caused some pain for Jonathan, who, for his part, had no problem with the situation.
This last episode was rich in emotions, thanks to exceptional men who express their feelings as best they can, far from the stereotypes of toxic masculinity. We notably witnessed a moving confession from the newcomer, Marcwho spoke of his son’s serious accident, an event that deeply affected him, with good reason. This ordeal pushed him to move forward and brought him closer to his emotions, as he explains.
That’s not all, because three candidates were entitled to a visit from their child, the secret spies and love specialists. One rule was clear, however: they must leave no doubt about their role in the adventure to their parents.
So, Alain (Vivienne), Maurice (Frédéric) et Judith (Laura) were able to see the most important people in their lives. Their children also pushed them a little so that they let themselves go and live the experience to the fullest.
What about the moment between Alain and his daughter Vivienne who brought tears to our eyes?
Alainthis exceptional man who seems to have so much to give and who is in tune with his emotions, feels that no girl is particularly interested in him, even if he wanted to be. Also afraid of the rejection he experienced in the past, he perhaps does not dare to move forward so as not to relive the same pain.
His daughter, who spies on him in the adventure, promised him that everything would be fine and that no one would reject him. It was an incredibly touching father-daughter moment, where both were visibly moved, and so were we as viewers. We hope thatAlain will find the one with whom he can build beautiful and great things.
Let us not pass over in silence the chemistry which is taking place more and more between Chantal et Yanickwho were also entitled to a little meeting. At one point, we even thought a kiss would be exchanged, but it didn’t materialize.
We think they’re really cute together and we can’t wait to see if the duo gets closer!
Mauricemeanwhile, especially after his son’s visit, seems more and more clear about his true interests, which would ultimately point towards Sandyrather than towards Judithwhom he appreciates, but with whom he perhaps projects himself a little less.
More and more love in the air and we love it!
On a sadder note, it is during the next episode that we will find out which candidate will have to leave the adventure. A choice that risks being heartbreaking for the children who will have to make this decision.
