The start of the fight is not far away. After six years of good and loyal service, the series Cobra Kai prepares to bow out. From a successful but discreet Legacysequel to a real hit on Netflix, the journey of the spin-off Karate Kid is out of the ordinary. First of all developed under the aegis of YouTube Red, the creation of Jon Hurwitz, Josh Heald and Hayden Schlossberg passed into the hands of Netflix at the end of the second season. From then on, the company focused on continuing the adventures of Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence alongside of a new generation of fighters. If it did not appear in the ranking of the most viewed series in the history of the platform, it has nothing to be ashamed of its audiences. This sixth season will thus be able to count on a strong community of followers to make a recipe.
After months of waiting, numerous postponements due to the strike, it is finally time to ring the bell for this final confrontation. On YouTube, Netflix announces an event in three parts which will begin during the summer and end in 2025. The time to say goodbye has not quite arrived. The appointment is therefore made on next July 18 for the first five episodes of this season which has 15. Then, you will have to wait until November of the same year. Finally, the company does not yet go into details, but the last episodes will be to be discovered during the year 2025. Miyagi-do still has a bright future ahead of it.

Goodbyes !
While many creators must resolve to abandon their sequel plans, if audiences do not meet Netflix’s expectations, Cobra Kai has the luxury of choosing when and how she will say goodbye to the public. According to the creators, they are the only ones to have made the decision to conclude the journey initiated years earlier on YouTube. The story should evolve around the return of John Kreese, the news parenthood of Johnny Lawrence and Carmen Diaz as well as the consequences of the method Terry Silver on his former students. There will be many avenues to explore, fifteen episodes will not be too many.
We can hope that all these beautiful people will be entitled to a finale worthy of the journey traveled. Note that one of the characters is already promised a return to the forefront. If the series is over, Ralph Macchio must quickly return to service for the new film Karate Kid. Under the leadership of Sony, this sequel must evolve around the two generations embodied by Macchio and Jackie Chan. This footage should a priori have no link with the series Cobra Kaiwhich mainly evolved around Johnny Lawrence and his quest for redemption after Daniel LaRusso’s (illegal) kick.
