Since meeting Charles (Robert Calvet), Jessica (Garance Teillet) has been on cloud nine in Tomorrow Belongs to Us. However, the Moreno girl is far from suspecting that the man she loves has embezzled the association’s money to repay his debts.
But as always in Tomorrow Belongs to Us, the truth always comes out. In the next episodes of the TF1 daily soap opera, Charles will have to confess the unforgivable to Jessica. Enough to shatter this young couple…
Between Charles and Jessica, it’s over!
In a new extract available on the TF1+ platform, Jessica is mad with rage. It must be said that the latter discovered that Charles had embezzled the association’s money to repay his debts.
Recognizing his wrongs, Charles nevertheless wants to explain himself. “I had no choice. I did this to protect you“, he declares before continuing, “Do you remember Hugues? The guy who told you we were childhood friends at the Spoon. He’s the one my former associate sent from Greece. He told me that if I didn’t give him the money, he would come after you. What do you want me to do? I was stuck“.
Unfortunately, these explanations are not enough for Jessica. Angry, the latter then reminds her that the police suspected her and that her father was taken into custody because of her. According to her, he only thought about taking money that was intended for sick children.
Then the young woman said, “You are a liar and a crook Charles. You disgust me. Now you forget me and leave me alone“.
When he asks if she plans to report him to the police, Jessica tells him no. “I hesitated but you see I just want to forget. Forget you and move on. Now you’re out of my life Charles“, she concludes.
This already closes the love story of Charles and Jessica in Tomorrow Belongs to Us. To find out if the police will eventually discover that the Julliard son is behind this theft, we will have to follow the rest of the program.
