A communication meeting focused on the different support mechanisms and programs for the benefit of small and medium-sized businesses and self-employed people was organized on Friday in Fez.

Initiated by the Moroccan Business Authority of the Fès-Meknes region (IME), in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of the Fès-Meknes region (CCIS), the National Agency for the Promotion of employment and skills (ANAPEC), reviewed the means capable of promoting entrepreneurship and relaunching investment, in addition to monitoring project leaders benefiting from State support.

Speaking on this occasion, the president of the IME of the Fez-Meknes region, Mostapha El Moufid, stressed that this meeting is part of the partnership agreement concluded between the Chamber and the Moroccan body. of companies, and as part of the implementation of the latter’s action program at the regional level, focused on the opening of the IME to its institutional environment through the exchange of information and the support of young project leaders, small and medium-sized businesses and very small businesses to find out about the various forms of support provided to businesses in general and within the framework of the INDH and ANAPEC in particular, reports MAP.

He also gave an overview of the creation of the IME in January 2020 by entrepreneurs and managers of small and medium-sized businesses, with the aim of defending the interests of these production units and supporting them in the field of management. and access to financing and to make their voices and demands heard before government authorities and responsible parties.

For his part, the vice-president of the CCIS of Fez-Meknes, Mohamed Amine Ammor, stressed that this meeting is part of the program on which the Chamber is working aimed at bringing the administration closer to young project leaders, small and medium-sized businesses, self-employed people and very small businesses, which constitute the backbone of the local and regional economy.

The company’s support and support operation is at the heart of the Chamber’s action through its strategic plan and its annual action programs, he added.

The representative of the Social Action division at the prefecture of Fez, Kawtar Lahrari, recalled the importance of the support and accompaniment programs of the 3rd phase of the INDH, which include four programs namely “Catch-up deficits in infrastructure and basic social services”, “Support for people in precarious situations”, “Improving income and economic inclusion of young people” and “Boosting the human capital of rising generations.
