After winning her battle last week, Coline was back on the set of The Voice Kids this Saturday September 28, 2024, for the semi-final. Accompanied by fifteen other talents, the 15-year-old teenager from Nice chose to make a crazy bet: to cover a poignant and very personal title by Slimane… Who is her coach!
Coline causes a sensation in The Voice Kids
From the very first notes, the four coaches immediately turned around, during the blind audition in the first episode of this tenth season. Coline had resumed Rise up by Andra Day and had won over Lara Fabian, Patrick Fiori, Claudio Capéo and of course Slimane, who had convinced her to join his team. To thank him, Coline chose to play the semi-final by revisiting the title that touches her the most in her coach’s repertoire: Fear. “I’m going to cry, it’s one of the most autobiographical songs I’ve written in my life“, reacted the singer when his protégé revealed his choice to him.

And, in fact, from Coline’s rehearsals, tears continued to flow down Slimane’s face. The emotion was there again during the semi-final. “It’s stirring, huh!“, reacted Nikos Aliagas after this great moment. Lara Fabian was overwhelmed by emotion, Patrick Fiori was stunned and Slimane broke down during the debrief: “Honestly, I found it touching to have chosen my song, you have so much talent that I didn’t want people to think that. And I’m happy, it’s tears of joy. If I made this song, it’s because sometimes, fears, doubts… Sometimes as an artist, I want to stop everything, like everyone else! And in fact, every time, I tell myself: but never in my life, do I have too many things to say, to sing. And being a coach in The Voice Kids… There, you reminded me why I do this job and why I love doing it, so thank you“. A few moments later, Coline was designated by her coach to be his finalist next Saturday!
