The Col des Mosses road is sadly famous, appreciated by road users who like tight turns and high speeds. The section between Aigle and Le Sépey was the scene of a dramatic event on these bends on Tuesday: a collision occurred around 11 a.m. between a motorcyclist and a bus, causing the death of the two-wheeler driver.
The report is in progress and the road will probably remain closed until the end of the afternoon, evokes the Vaud cantonal police. Until then, users of this route are invited to go through the Col de la Croix or Bulle, she says. A press release will be sent later this afternoon.
