Invasion of Ukraine – Russia says it shot down 55 drones, oil depot on fire

“Over the past night, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 55 Ukrainian aerial drones” in six Russian regions, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

Six drones were notably shot down in the Voronezh region (west), bordering Ukraine, according to the same source.

The fall of a drone on the territory of a local oil depot caused a “new fire”, this site having already been on fire for six days after being hit by a similar Ukrainian strike, the governor wrote on Telegram regional, Alexandre Goussev.
