Administrators, family, friends, elected officials. All that was missing was Minister Marcangeli this Monday evening, January 20, at the socio-cultural and sports community center of Peri, to celebrate the Golden Marianne which was awarded to Xavier Lacombe. It rewards his environmental action for the benefit of his municipality since 2008 and more broadly, the action of one of the best elected mayors in France. Amidst his many supporters, the one who resigned from his position as chief magistrate of Peri to join the National Assembly, distributes smiles and warm embraces. The incongruity of a politico-judicial agenda which sees him this Monday receiving his Marianne d’Or and this Tuesday, January 21, responding to the summons of an investigating judge, at the Ajaccio judicial court, for complicity in forgery and use of falsehood, does not change the atmosphere.
