Matthew Knies had two goals and an assist to help the Maple Leafs beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 5-3 on Monday night in Toronto.

Auston Matthews, with a goal and an assist, Mitch Marner, with a goal and two assists, and William Nylander also moved the strings for the Maple Leafs, who won a third game in a row.

Joseph Woll, who has won eight of his last 10 starts, stopped 27 pucks.

Nick Paul, twice, and Darren Raddysh responded for the Lightning, who have lost six of their last seven road games.
