Saturday January 18, 2025 was held in Guipavas, the regional adapted para archery championship, organized by the Brittany Adapted Sports League in partnership with the Finistère Departmental Adapted Sports Committee and the Guipavas Archers sports association. . Five athletes from the Genêts d’Or Sports and Cultural Association (ASCGO) of Saint-Pol-de-Léon took part among the 33 athletes involved.
A third place
As during the departmental championship last December, in Quimper, ASCGO finished on the third step of the podium in the number of points per team. “Their kindness, solidarity and fair play during training and in competition reflect an excellent state of mind within the group,” commented educator Cédric Le Joly. Four of them have also subscribed to a license from the French Archery Federation which will allow them to compete, in inclusion, with the other licensees of the Compagnie d’arc de Saint-Pol-de- Leon.
