Students from establishments participating in ARTCENA’s EAC program “Reading and telling today’s theater” will take on the winning text of the Grand Prize for Dramatic Literature 2024. They will offer several readings during Reading Nights , a national event organized by the CNL.
At the end of the Grand Prix Evening in November 2024, reading sessions and class debates, the students of the Jules Ferry and Victor Hugo high schools in Paris chose the winning text A coronation, by Guillaume Poix (Éditions Théâtrales).
This text is worked on within establishments during reading aloud workshops. These prepare students for readings which will be part of the national event Les Reading Nights 2023.
-- Thursday January 23, 5:30 p.m.: Reading extracts fromA coronation at the Lycée Jules Ferry by second general students
- Friday January 24 5:30 p.m. : This same class will offer this reading at the Odéon-Théâtre de l’Europe, Paris 6th
- A reading will also take place at the Lycée Victor Hugo by students of the Theater Option – Secondary
The ninth edition of Reading Nights will take place from January 23 to 26, 2025 throughout France and will offer the public thousands of physical and digital events, around the theme of heritage. It is organized by the National Book Center at the suggestion of the Ministry of Culture.
