In one publication, the journalist from The Verge states: “I heard the Switch 2 should be revealed this week”. The whistleblower Nate The Hate goes further by advancing the date of Thursday January 16, 2025.
-Attention : this information should be taken with a pinch of salt. Nothing has been made official by Nintendo and many false rumors have been spread in recent weeks. For example, Genki presented a mock-up claiming that it was the final design of the console before backtracking on its statements.
According to the few leaks here and there, the Switch 2 would focus on hardware with a design similar to the current generation but largerin particular the screen and the Joy-Con which would have been designed to put an end to the Joy-Con Drift.
