Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and his long-term partner Cristina Serra have ended their relationship after three decades together. The decision was reportedly made last December, although the two chose to maintain discretion and asked their inner circle not to reveal details of their split.
The announcement was made by journalists Laura Fa and Lorena Vázquez, who confirmed that the separation was amicable and conflict-free. Even during the holiday season, when they had already gone their separate ways, they were spotted in Barcelona, where they attended the theater with one of their daughters.
A life together
The story between Guardiola and Serra began in 1994, during his time as a FC Barcelona player. Since then, they have built a strong relationship that culminated in a civil marriage celebrated in 2014 in Matadepera, when Guardiola was coach of Bayern Munich.

Although their family life has always been low-key, María has gained public prominence with a significant presence on digital platforms.
The separation marks the end of a relationship that saw Guardiola achieve both personal and professional feats, both on the pitch and in his family life. Despite the breakup, both have shown that they maintain a respectful and cordial relationship.
