Well placed in the race for the small globe

Winner of the first two slaloms this season, in Levi (Finland) then Gurgl (Austria), the Vosges native (27 years old) had to give up competing in Val d’Isère, his adopted resort, on December 15, due to ‘a sprained right ankle suffered the day before in a fall during the giant. A big week of treatment later, he was still at the start in Alta Badia (Italy), taking 6th place on the Gran Risa, a very correct result taking into account the circumstances and the pain still present, which allows him to stay well placed, within a leading quartet with more than 200 points, in the race for the slalom globe (3rd, 30 points behind the Norwegian leader, Henrik Kristoffersen).
