Heading for Noxus, on all media
Maybe that’s Riot Games’ goal after all. We already know, Arcane will not have season 3 but the universe League of Legends will continue on television with three new series, the first of which will take place in the Noxus region.
So see this trailer also being centered on this area of the world while giving pride of place to the character of Mel Medarda who we only saw in the Fortiche show (not to mention an explicit reference to the series) is enough to raise a few eyebrows.
And yet no, you are not watching a trailer for the next series which will follow on Arcanebut good a trailer for the new season of League of Legends (the game) which will start on January 9and which will focus on Noxus with skins linked to the region. Riot pushes the transmedia strategy to its climax by ensuring that the game continues the events of Arcane, at least via its trailers (it will be more difficult in-game).
At least the Fortiche studio is entitled to a trial run by tackling the lore of Noxus here, before continuing its work on the new series to come.
