Terrorism: Macron wants to maintain his memorial museum project
Emmanuel Macron wishes to maintain the Terrorism Memorial Museum project “as he announced it” in 2018. This project had been threatened with abandonment by the government of Michel Barnier. It is estimated at 95 million euros spread over eight years, and was due to open its doors in 2027 in Mont-Valérien, in the town of Suresnes, near Paris.
Mpox in Brittany: a human case of the new variant, a French first
This is a first in France. A human case infected with the new variant of Mpox – formerly known as monkeypox – has been declared in Brittany, the Ministry of Health announced this Monday evening. This person “was in contact with two people returning from central Africa, investigations are underway to find the origin of the contamination and identify all the contact people,” the ministry said.
