The restaurant reservation application has just revealed its 2024 ranking of the best restaurants in France. Nine Parisian establishments occupy the top 10.
Enough to give ideas for a next outing to the restaurant. The reservation application The Fork unveils this Tuesday, January 7, the second edition of its annual Top 100 of the best restaurants in France, produced according to the preferences of Internet users.
From neighborhood restaurants to starred establishments and more confidential addresses, the ranking “highlights the 100 restaurants that made the year 2024”, specifies The Fork website.
And this year again, Parisian addresses dominate the ranking “with more than one in two restaurants located in the capital (excluding Île-de-France)”, indicates the application. Nine establishments located in Paris occupy the top 10.
French-Japanese fusion and truffle bar
In first place is the bistronomic restaurant Cellar, located in the 11th arrondissement, which offers French-Japanese fusion cuisine. The truffle bar Un Jour à Peyrassol (2nd) and the pizzeria Le Quartier Latin (5th) complete the podium.
The following four addresses are also located in Paris: Grains Nobles et Plus… (5th), Signature Montmartre (18th), Madito (11th) and Marsan of chef Hélène Darroze (6th). Finally, Le Cèdre in Nice – the only non-Parisian establishment in the top 10 -, Mystery Cuisine (Ie) and Okuda (IIXth) bring up the rear.
Besides Paris, the rest of France is also well represented, with nearly 40% of restaurants located in the region, notes The Fork. World capital of gastronomy, Lyon is the second most represented city in the ranking with 9 establishments. It is followed by Bordeaux with 6 establishments.
The local culinary heritage is also well represented since “half of the top establishments offer French cuisine”, indicates The Fork. To establish this annual ranking, the application relies mainly on the verified ratings and opinions of Internet users, but also on very precise criteria such as the average price or the number of reservations.
