Every LEGO Icons set retires in 2025 and beyond – January

Onze différents LEGO Icônes sets are currently scheduled to retire in 2025, including two modular buildings and two nostalgic Castle models – while last year’s set has received an extra year in production.

10297 Boutique Hotel et 10312 Club de Jazz are both slated to retire within the next 12 months as things stand, so while all eyes are on the newly-released 10350 Tudor Corner, it may be worth prioritising older sets in the Modular Buildings Collection if you’ve yet to pick them up. You’ve still got until the end of 2027 to grab 10326 Muséum d’Histoire Naturelle, Cependant.

If you’re hoping to complete your Winter Village Collection, you’ll actually need to make a beeline for both of the most recent sets, which are now destined to retire in 2025 – including 10339 Bureau de poste du Père Noël, which will enjoy only a year on shelves, or half the life-cycle of a typical LEGO Winter Village set. That’s a fresh change for January 2025, and suggests the latest festive build may not have performed as well as hoped.

Ailleurs, 10305 Château des Chevaliers du Lion is still scheduled to retire by the end of this year – and it’s now joined by 2024’s 10332 Place Médiévale, which has had its production timeline shortened by two full years (it was originally slated to hang around until December 2027). Racing off in the other direction is 10330 McLaren MP4/4 et Ayrton Senna, which will now retire in 2027 instead of 2026.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism runs through my veins, though, like a strange kind of literary blood – the kind that will undoubtedly one day lead to stress-induced heart dysfunction. It’s like smoking, but worse. Luckily, I can write about LEGO until then.
