Tribute at the Golden Globes

Jeff Baena had been in a relationship with Aubrey Plaza since 2011. They got married in 2021. The filmmaker and screenwriter had notably directed the films Life after Bethwith Aubrey Plaza, John C. Reilly and Dane DeHaan, in 2014, but also Bachelor partyin 2016, Horse Girlwith Alison Brie, in 2020 and Spin Me Roundin 2022, with Alison Brie and Aubrey Plaza.
Jeff Baena had also worked with directors Robert Zemeckis and David O. Russell as a production assistant. He thus co-wrote with David O. Russell the screenplay for J’adore Huckabeesin 2004, with Jason Schwarzman, Dustin Hoffman, Naomi Watts and Jude Law.
