Over the past few weeks, rumors have suggested that there may have been an issue between forwards JT Miller and Elias Pettersson with the Vancouver Canucks.

During his passage to Hockey 360On Monday, our collaborator with AthleticsPierre LeBrun addressed this situation regarding two star players of the Canadian team.

He recalled that team captain Quinn Hughes did not deny rumors to the media, which suggested that there would be conflict in the Canucks locker room.

LeBrun has since shared that various general managers are inquiring with Vancouver general manager Patrik Allvin about the possibility of making a trade involving one of these players. According to T’s hockey informanthe athleticIt remains to be seen whether the proposed price could suit the Canucks who do not intend to simply make a trade at any price. He notes, however, that the problem is that teams that learn about the situation are in a position to be in the playoffs and therefore it is difficult to establish a comeback that would interest Vancouver. LeBrun, however, confirms that calls are being made about the two attackers.

Pettersson is currently sidelined with an upper body injury. He has 10 goals and 18 assists in 34 games this season. Miller, for his part, has 25 points in 28 games to his name. He withdrew from team activities in November for personal reasons.

Aged 26, Pettersson has just started an eight-year contract that will earn him a total of $92.8 million. Miller is in the second year of a seven-year, $56 million pact.
