“I’m going to kill you, kill you. » These remarks of rare violence were said to have been made several times on Saturday afternoon by a man in his forties against a nurse at the François-Quesnay hospital, in Mantes-la-Jolie. ().

Alerted, police officers went to the hospital. The man was taken to the Mantes-la-Jolie police station while the caregiver filed a complaint for death threats. We did not know this Sunday why such comments were made.

Every day, on average, 65 healthcare professionals are victims of physical or verbal attacks in . According to the Physician Safety Observatory, these attacks continue to increase. It reports in 2023 at the national level 1,581 incidents compared to 1,244 in 2022 and 1,001 the previous year.
