Around 4 p.m., this Sunday, January 5, two men were the targets of several gunshots in the parking lot of the KFC in Vénissieux, BFM Lyon learned from reliable sources. The two victims were treated by emergency services in an absolute emergency.
At the moment, little is known about the circumstances of the tragedy. The perpetrator(s) of the shots are on the run. The police are on site to carry out initial surveys.

A precedent at the end of December
Sunday December 29, a week ago, two people were injured by firearms, still in Venissieux. The three perpetrators were arrested and at the end of their custody presented to an investigating judge to be placed in pre-trial detention.
The Lyon public prosecutor’s office had opened a judicial investigation into the counts of “attempted murder by an organized gang”, “extortion by an organized gang committed with a weapon”, “receiving by an organized gang of property resulting from a theft”, “unauthorized detention in armed groups”, “drug trafficking”, and “participation in a criminal association”.
Three people had been referred by the Lyon public prosecutor’s office to the investigating judge and requests for placement in pre-trial detention had been taken by the public prosecutor’s office against them.
