The adventure Star Academy 2024 is over for Ulysses. He was eliminated at the gates of the semi-final against Marine, Charles and Franck. But the 25-year-old young man only remembers positives from this adventure. Near Purepeoplehe spoke about the benefits of this experience and revealed who he saw winning the adventure.
Who do you see winning the adventure?
So, I would like to see Charles win the adventure. But the one who for me would deserve the most would be Ebony. She’s too strong. She sings really well, she manages to create song-dance scenes with an ease that is quite disconcerting. To me, it would make sense for her to win. But my heart tends more towards Charles.
What did this adventure teach you?
I learned a lot of things about my voice that I didn’t know. I haven’t been singing the right way until now. Afterwards, on a human level, it taught me to open up. I met great people. It’s the first time I’ve been surrounded by people who look like me. I get a lot of positives from it.
Has this made you feel more confident in yourself?
My confidence fluctuated a lot throughout the adventure, between the nominations and the public rescues. But I think I still came out of there with more confidence in myself.
Do you think this can help alleviate your anxiety attacks?
To heal from this, there is no choice but to confront yourself and face challenges to get through it. It was a bit of a challenge for me to embark on this adventure, knowing that I could have had a very bad experience. In the end, I experienced it very well and I think that I came out of it grown.
During your adventure, you admitted that you had wanted to give up music at one point in your life. For what reason?
At one point in my life, I signed with a record company with a producer. So I thought my career was going to take off. But it stopped overnight, so that kind of bummed me out. But my father told me that I originally turned to music because I loved it. So I continued to do it for fun. Then I was spotted to do the Star Academy castings behind.
You had the opportunity to sing compositions live. What effect does this have?
It’s amazing to be able to sing your songs on a prime. I had the opportunity to do it twice, so I’m super grateful. It’s very close to my heart, because what I enjoy most is composing. And I see that people are relatively happy with the music I make, so it’s so good. It makes me want to write even more.
What can we wish you next?
Continue writing and so that I can make a living from my passion.
