Angélique Angarni-Filopon, recently elected Miss 2025, speaks on the set of What an era! the attacks on her age, of which she is the victim on social networks.

Since her coronation on December 14 at Futuroscope in , Angélique Angarni-Filopon, Miss France 2025, has been the victim of violent online attacks, particularly regarding her age. Questioned Saturday January 4 on the set of What an era!the 34-year-old young woman spoke about these attacks.

“I unfortunately read, because I want to block it. I no longer want these people to have access to my direct account. And what people don’t realize is that behind me, I have a family. And I have nephews who come across the comments.”

“I shield myself”

“I’m bracing myself,” she adds. “But my nephews are perhaps not necessarily so. My oldest nephew is 13 years old. He’s very young, it’s his 3rd year in college,” emphasizes -she.

“I find it sad to take so much comfort in telling someone that you don’t like them. Time too. I would never say to someone in the street ‘I don’t like your hat ‘”.

The Miss France are particularly exposed to these uninhibited criticisms. “The Misses are expensive,” confirms Angélique Angarni-Filopon.

On December 20, the president of the Miss France Society, Frédéric Gilbert, published a press release in which he condemned the comments made and announced legal measures.

“Since her election, (Angélique Angarni-Filopon) has suffered a wave of harassment and hateful comments on social networks,” he wrote in this message published as a story on Instagram.

“The Miss France Society strongly condemns these comments,” he added. “These offensive comments have no place in our competition, nor in our society, and will all be reported to the appropriate authorities.” And to conclude with a reminder: “Harassment and cyberharassment are punishable by law.”

Before her, Eve Gilles, Miss France 2024, had also been criticized and harassed on social networks, about her haircut and her physique.
