Alpine skiing – World Cup. Kranjska Gora: Holdener and Ljutic leaders after the first round, Marie Lamure in the top 10

Wendy Holdener and Zrinka Ljutic both took first place in the Kranjska Gora slalom. The first two bibs signed the same time but Camille Rast is not far away. Marie Lamure is the best Frenchwoman, 10th.

A first round already much closer than that of the giant of Kranjska Gora on Saturday. Yesterday, Sara Hector largely dominated the debates, pushing back her closest competitor to a second. This Sunday, in slalom, there are two leaders. Bibs 1 and 2, Wendy Holdener and Zrinka Ljutic set the same time and share the lead. This configuration means that the Croatian will close the gate in the second round because she started afterwards.

Camille Rast in ambush

Behind this duo, the gaps are also small. The red bib suits her well, Camille Rast is completely in the game on the Podkoren. The Swiss is only 32 hundredths from first place. Anna Swenn-Larsson follows closely with 34 hundredths behind the lead. Bib 18, Emma Aicher confirms her form with a provisional 5th place and the best times at the top. Mélanie Meillard and Sara Hector share 6th place.

Reference handle for Marie Lamure

It’s one of his best runs this season. More liberated, Marie Lamure set the 10th time of the first round, 1”18 behind the two leaders. A great performance from the Savoyarde who knew how to manage the pace of the route. Chiara Pogneaux does something similar to what she does at the start of winter. Under two seconds, Haut-Alpine is on the verge of qualifying, after the first 30 bibs have passed.

A little waiting too for Clarisse Brèche. She too is under two seconds, with the 23rd provisional time after the first 30. Three French women still at the start.
