During a surprise masterclass orchestrated by Isabelle Nanty at the Star AcademyCharles broke the armor like rarely. The young candidate from Brittany revealed that he suffered from a lack of self-confidence, sometimes causing storms of emotion. A temperament on which he has been working since the start of his adventure on TF1.
Charles is one of the students of this new season of the Star Academy with the greatest progression. The candidate, who never took singing lessons before arriving on TF1, managed to find his tone thanks to the different classes given by singing teacher Sofia Morgavi. But he will still have to defend his place for the semi-final during the bonus organized this Saturday, January 4, 2025. Indeed, only Ebony won her ticket to participate in the semi-final of this new season.
For their part, Marine, Franck, Ulysse and Charles will have to compete throughout the evening to stay at the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys. In the meantime, the students had the honor of attending a masterclass organized by actress Isabelle Nanty. The famous actress from the saga The Tuches – in which Ulysse's brother also played – particularly joked about his size alongside Marine.

Then, after having had a good laugh, it was time for secrets. In a video posted online on TF1+, we can see Isabelle Nanty asking Charles his state of mind, a few days before the semi-final of the show. “Are you often sad?”, she questioned him. “No or at least I don’t show it, I try not to show it (…) when I arrived here I wasn’t crying, that kind of thing”he remembers, before adding that he had managed to open up to others over the weeks.
“Little by little I found a softness, something I didn't have. I'm much calmer, I don't get angry about much anymore, basically I'm someone… I can get angry over nothing, I get upset”, reveals the one who believes that this behavior may be the result of a lack of self-confidence. “I am calmer” Charles nevertheless congratulates himself on the subject of his work carried out in the adventure on his voice but also on himself. Little caterpillar becomes butterfly!
