For a reason and in exact circumstances that the investigation will have to determine, a fire started around 12:30 p.m. this Friday in the courtyard of the Carnot high school in Dijon. The information, revealed by our colleagues from France Bleu Bourgogne, was confirmed to us in the afternoon by the staff of the Interdepartmental Directorate of the National Police of Côte-d'Or (DIPN 21). The events occurred in the interior courtyard of the school, on the rue Diderot side, according to our sources.

An accidental or criminal origin?
Three garbage containers were found on fire, without, at this stage, it being possible to determine whether the origin was deliberate or accidental. A police investigation was opened. This fire outbreak did not cause any injuries or require evacuations, according to our information, given that there are only a few people at the high school during the Christmas school holidays.
Note, among other things, the rapid intervention of firefighters from the Côte-d'Or Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (Sdis 21) as well as the police.
