“The findings are currently in progress”indicated a police source, confirming the deaths of two people, without providing further details.
The firefighters intervened shortly after 8:30 p.m. on this private land, located in a small street in Franconville, where “the caravans were completely engulfed in flames”. The intervention by 22 firefighters lasted several hours and it was during the clearing that they discovered the two charred bodies in the rubble.
The town hall of the town of 38,000 inhabitants, which deplores “the drama”did not wish to make any statement to AFP.
