For this last month of the year 2024, the channels most happy are undoubtedly those broadcasting information continuously. In fact, all dedicated antennas are increasing their audience. With dense news, BFMTV, which saw the departure of one of its presenters, gained 0.7 points over one year and regained its first place by reaching 3.3% market share. It is also the most watched TNT channel in December 2024.

BFMTV, CNEWS, LCI, FRANCEINFO, all on the rise!

For his part, CNews is far from being left behind with an increase of 0.5 points. The Canal+ group's all-news channel reached 3.1% audience share. Meanwhile, LCI, which suffered declines in recent months, is regaining color and bringing together 1.8% of the public. The opportunity to bounce back by 0.2 points. Same progression for FranceInfo, which however has half the audience than its comrade on TF1.

The Team had a good month, recording a 1.8% market share (+0.3), as much as 6ter and RMC Découverte. Chérie 25 also remains dynamic (+0.1). Canal+ and Arte each grab 0.1 points.

2 suffers the blow compared to December 2023

In terms of disappointments, France 2 is the channel which loses the most over a year with a drop of 0.8 points. Apart from FranceInfo, all public service antennas are withdrawn.

As for the TF1 group, many channels are also in decline. The biggest drop came from TF1 Séries Films, going from 2% to 1.6% audience share.
