From January 1 of their lease end year, FIFA authorizes the players concerned to negotiate freely with other clubs. But these cases are ultimately quite few in Artois. Indeed, if we exclude M'Bala Nzola and Martin Satriano, loaned until the end of the season with an option to buy, only three players are actually at the end of their contract in June.
These include in particular Nampalys Mendy (28 years old)who has had almost no playing time this season. He could also leave the club this winter. The third guardian, Denis Petric (36 years old), had signed up for one season. Finally, Tom Pouilly (21 years old), trained at the club, signed his first professional contract with Racing last summer. A contract which binds him to Lens until 2025.

If we take a look a little further ahead, 2026 could be a different story. Among players at the end of their contract as of June 30 2026, we include Florian Sotoca, Deiver Machado, Jonathan Gradit, Wesley Saïd, Ruben Aguilar, Adrien Thomasson and David Pereira da Costa!
