Da Nang welcomes around 3,000 tourists on the first day of the New Year 2025. |

Of these, nearly two thousand tourists of European and American nationalities arrived aboard the cruise ship Noordam, which docked at the port of Tiên Sa at 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday 1is January.
During the ceremony welcoming the first visitors to the city, local authorities presented them with flowers, souvenirs and travel vouchers. Lion dance performances were also held.
On the first day of the New Year, Da Nang International Airport received 125 flights, including 57 international ones. During the New Year holidays, from December 28, 2024 to 1is January 2025, the airport handled more than 600 flights, representing an increase of 15.6% compared to the same period of the previous year.
Tan Van Vuong, deputy director of the Municipal Tourism Department, said Da Nang’s tourism sector is expected to receive more than 11.9 million tourists in 2025, up 10 percent from the previous year, including more than 4.8 million foreign tourists.

The first foreign visitors arrive in Huê in 2025
The same day, more than 100 passengers on board flight VN6317 Hanoi in Hue arrived at Phu Bai International Airport, in Hue city.
In 2025, Hue will host major events such as the National Year of Tourism and the commemoration of the 50e anniversary of the city’s liberation, creating opportunities to boost local tourism.
The People’s Committee of Hoi An city in the central province of Quang Nam welcomed the first delegation of international tourists in 2025, including 18 Italian citizens.
By 2024, Quang Nam will have reached eight million tourists, of which more than 4.5 million will visit Hoi An. By 2025, the city plans to launch new products and improve the quality of tourism services, transportation accommodation and catering. It will also focus on developing forms of ecological, seaside and leisure tourism.
On the same day, the provinces of Bên Tre (South) and Dak Lak (Central Highlands) also organized welcome programs for the first tourists.
