In 19 days, Donald Trump will return to the White House. The president-elect spent his entire campaign saying what he would do on day one. Overview.
Donald Trump announced it during his campaign: he will not be a dictator, except on the first day of his presidency. First measure: pardon the rioters of January 6, 2021 who stormed the Capitol to prevent the certification of the presidential results which gave Joe Biden the winner. Several officers were injured, and 750 people were incarcerated.
Another promise: tackling illegal immigration with mass expulsions. The president has not yet specified in detail who would be affected. He promises to bring down inflation while imposing extremely high customs tariffs on products from abroad.
As in 2016, Donald Trump wants to leave the Paris Agreement. Its priority: increase oil and gas drilling.
