Due to the orange “snow-ice” vigilance issued by Météo France, the Paris Police Prefecture has published an order limiting the speed on all roads in Île-de-France this Saturday, January 4, 2025 from from 5 p.m.

« A disturbance reaches Île-de-France on Saturday evening », Announces the meteorological service, indicating that the expected precipitation could “ occur in the form of snow, followed by freezing rain, which can make the roads slippery ».
Since then, the Paris police headquarters published a decree relating to restrictive traffic measures taken as part of the implementation of the Snow and Ice Plan in Île-de-France.
« Considering that the departments of the Île-de-de-France region are subject to orange level meteorological vigilance by Météo France, due to freezing rain precipitation and an increased risk of black ice », the Paris Police Prefecture issued an order in order to limit speed and of the lowering of 20 km/h on all roads in Île-de-France Saturday January 4, 2025 and this, from 5 p.m.
In detail, “ the speed is lowered by 20 km/h on all the axes of the road network within the territorial scope of application of the PNVIF (Plan Neige Verglas en Ile-de-France, editor's note) mentioned in the annex to the decree (excluding Paris ring road) from Saturday January 4, 2025 5 p.m. until Sunday January 5, 2025 12 a.m. for all vehicles ».
This restriction de circulation thus concerns all roads, outside the ring road, Parisbut also l'A1between Saint-Denis La Plaine (93) and Survilliers (95), the A10 between Palaiseau (91) and Ponthévrard (78) or even the A103 between Noisy-le-Sec and Rosny-sous-Bois (93), and l'A13 between Saint-Cloud (92) and Buchelay (78).
