The forfeits of the Prix Léon Tacquet (Gr. III over 2,700 meters for 5 & 6 years old), contested this Saturday January 4 in Vincennes, took place this Wednesday 1is January in the morning; there are still twelve in the running to try to win the first group in mounted trotting in 2025. Four of them are 6 years old. Joumba de Guezrunner-up of Jezabelle Bie in the Prix Bilibili (Gr. I), is already declared with Éric Raffin, while Jean Balthazarfifth in this last group I, will have Benjamin Rochard on his back. Jimako Verderie et Jupiter de Play are still in the running. Among the youngest, Étienne Dubois confirmed the presence of So Dreamwinner of the Prix Cénéri Forcinal (Gr. II) at the start of the meeting, declaring Damien Bonne, while Katinka Aimefsecond of Kerry Love last week, will once again be ridden by Alexis Collette. The two group I winners Kyrielle des Vaux et Kyt Kat (Mr. Mottier) are committed, like Kapaula de l'Epine (A. Lamy), who should not however run in this event, his entourage having had to change their tune in recent hours (see our Monday edition). Keengame, Kid Bellay et Kasbah Perrine complete the entry list. The starters will be known this Thursday at 10 a.m.
