Since 2022, the Trajectories festival aims to bring together several cultural partners from the Alpes-Maritimes department – the Forum Jacques Prévert – Carros, the Théâtre National de Nice, Scène 55 – Mougins, the Théâtre de la Licorne – Cannes, the Théâtre de Grasse, the Médiathèque de Mouans-Sartoux – around a common objective: to question our relationship with the world through the prism of life stories.
Created at the Forum Jacques Prévert in January 2019, Trajectoires has from the start chosen a demanding contemporary artistic program, where the shows – whatever the discipline – bear witness to life journeys, stories as close as possible to reality which question our humanities, our social relationships, and support us in understanding our times.
Throughout its five editions, the Festival has made structuring and cooperation between structures major issues, and has in return been rewarded with a growing audience. A scale that can only be achieved by pooling resources, which promotes the dissemination of scheduled artistic teams and the circulation of audiences between locations. Working together also means having global and shared communication with partners, allowing optimal coverage of the event, visible on a regional and national scale.
5 weeks for 12 proposals, in a multidisciplinary approach since we find the Musique (Hiraeth an aesthetic of erasure – Arthur H / Lighthouse with fireflies) and the Danse (Tender Carcass by Arthur Perole), the Puppet (Mythos, from Anima Théâtre) and theIllusion (The Hilton Sisters, by Valérie Lesort & Christian Hecq) as well as the Theaterwith among others Marie Christine Barrault who covers Giselle Halimi a fierce freedom or the Cie L’Énelle who comes to present the final version of Francé – after having been present last year as part of the Fragments Festival, at the opening of Trajectoires 2024 .

Resolutely multidisciplinary, Trajectoires also offers debates, conferences, meetings, philosophy snacks and project models to extend the themes addressed by the FJP and partner shows.
Closer to reality, it facilitates the meeting between performing arts and civil society, so that both emerge ever richer.
