Consumers, here are your rights during this sales period
The website of the Ministry of the Economy has put a note online for consumers, during the sales period, so that they do not get fooled.
Also, know that the Warranty limitations on sale products are illegal. A sale item benefits from the same guarantees as any other non-sale item in terms of non-apparent manufacturing defects, lack of conformity or after-sales service. In fact, if you notice a hidden defect, you can ask the seller for a replacement or refund of the product purchased.
In the absence of a hidden defect or lack of conformity, the seller is however not legally required to carry out the exchange or refund, but he can do so on a commercial basis.
Furthermore, be vigilant too: “merchants are required to apply any provisions relating to exchange or refund which they advertise, either in the form of displays in the store, or by mentioning it on receipts or any other medium.”
