New Max: films and series to watch in streaming in January 2025

Launched in France in June 2024, the Max streaming service from the giant Warner Bros. In just a few months, Discovery has established itself as a major player on the French market. It was therefore normal to relay the new programs joining the platform, as we already do for Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and Canal+.

And that’s good, since between HBO productions, Warner documentaries and animated shows, a nice arrival of new films, series and documentaries will join the Max catalog in January 2025.

The Max series of the month

The Pitt

The Pitt offers a realistic look at the challenges facing healthcare professionals in America today, through the experiences of heroes on the front lines in a modern hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Under its guise of an unofficial reboot ofEMERGENCIESthis medical series hosted by Noah Wyle has the particularity of having structured its season around a day of work in the emergency room of a Pittsburgh hospital. Its 15 episodes therefore follow each hour of service of its team of doctors. A concept that promises!

Starting January 10 on Max.

Max movie of the month

Christopher Reeve, the eternal Superman

This documentary explores the deep connections between Christopher Reeve and Superman, highlighting their shared nine-year adventure.

Co-directed by the duo Philippe Guedj / Philippe Roure, already at the helm of Marvel Universe (2015) et Marvel Renaissance (2014), Christopher Reeve, the eternal Superman is the essential documentary of the beginning of the year for all fans of the Man of Steel. Thanks to the contribution of a new interview with the actor carried out in 2004 and fascinating archive images, all narrated by Pierre Arditi, the film takes us with emotion.

Starting January 2 on Max.
