The firefighters of Tarn-et-Garonne intervened on the evening of Tuesday December 31, 2024 when a fire had just broken out in the town of Bruniquel, a charming village located approximately thirty kilometers east of Montauban.

The emergency services had to face “a flag fire” located on the Monclar road, indicates the Tarn-et-Garonne Fire and Rescue Operational Center which occurred around 7 p.m.
“The pavilion was completely destroyed by flames but there are no injuries,” said a source to Toulouse News. One person was relocated.
A fire still under surveillance
No less than 26 firefighters were mobilized for this intervention. Due to the fragility of the structure, which was badly damaged by the fire, the fire fighters were still monitoring this individual house this Wednesday 1is January 2025. Surveillance which should continue “until the beginning of the afternoon”.
An investigation was opened by the police to determine the origin of the disaster.
